There are many uses for LED Strip/Tape lighting. The most common reason to use LED strip is for decorative purposes or for ambience lighting. At Sunny Electricals we like to think of LED strip lighting as mood lighting for use in the home as well as in commercial business environments.
Some examples of strip lighting in the home are cove lighting and kitchen cabinets (kick boards and under units).
In the commercial environment, strip lighting is often used in reception areas and boardrooms and is very popular in the hospitality industry, found in many Restaurants, Hotels, Clubs and Pubs used for colour washing walls, for lighting hallways and staircases, external edge lighting, to create an atmosphere.
We are now seeing these strips be used as main light sources in rooms offering a modern alternative to traditional Downlights
