Cable ties
Cable ties are a type of fastener which are designed to securely hold together wires and electrical cables, though they are commonly used in a wide variety of applications. Also referred to as zip ties, they are generally made of a durable nylon and have a flexible tape section with an opening at one end. The wire tie is wrapped around the item to be secured with the blunt end inserted into the head and pulled tight to secure. Small teeth prevent it from loosening and coming undone. They are available in a wide range of lengths, colours and widths to suit a huge range of jobs both indoors and out, making them an essential product for any tool kit.
